It`s been long since last time posting on the blog. I have been dedicating myself actually to my drawings and then didn`t do any craft at all. I already have an old channel on Youtube where I post my speed drawing videos, but now I created a new channel for crafts and tutorials. So this is my first video on my brand new channel, I hope you guys like it. In this video I show you how to make a cute little bunny out of socks.

Quanto tempo sem postar por aqui no blog.
Tenho me dedicado em desenhos em pastel, na verdade. Assim o artesanato ficou meio de lado.
Eu ja tenho um canal no Youtube onde tenho poucos videos, mas sobre meus desenhos.

I have alwais been fascinated by the graphics on this game, and always felt like chalenging myself to draw him. Fan art

Hi,

I am fascinated about animation, specially stop motion animation. It makes me just feel like... I don`t know... I wanna make one of those characters out of clay ... One month ago at work one of my coleagues who has a 3 y.o. daughter told me that the girl loves the minions from " Despicable me"... right away I asked her if I could model a minion for her. That was the result... I loved making this one... think I will make some more for myself ;-)

Merino Wool

Hallo!!

 

So it`s been a while since last post. And it was exactly about something I`ve been doing... procrastinating... a lot. But today I got so excited to share with you my new passion: Merino wool.

In the beginning I though it would not turn out so well or take too long to finish one piece. But after the first one, it`s so much fun to work with it, well, except for stabbing my fingers hehehe... then my first piece was this cute litle bunny that I glued to a frame and it turned out pretty cute. For the first I just wanted something simple, but I already got lots of great ideas for the next ones.

Procrastination

Hi!!

Thinking about how I get my things done and actually getting pretty upset about it, (yes, I procrastinate a lot) I was watching some videos on You Tube and wondering if it`s just me or if it is something all artists go through. Well, I found some videos that were really nice for me and I got some great advices on how to past procrastination and artist block. Will Terrel is a very talentd artist who also is able to encourage his viewers to go through those moments. I love watching his videos. I feel really inspired when I hear his advices. Another very talented artist who helps a lot on You Tube is Will Terry. His channel`s got a bunch of good advices that we can apply to our lives. I am really glad I found those guys online. I have always worked with art, but after moving to Norway my life just became upside down. On the other hand, this place is so inspiring to me, thousands of ideas come to my mind, I get super excited about all my projects... and then.... yeah... PROCRASTINATION comes to mess it up. I don`t know if it`s just fear of doing something new, or if it`s fear of being in a totally different country and having to start from zero. But I`m working on that and will try not to get away from my goals and work on my art.

Now the piece is finally finished. I used a box from IKEA and it turned into a cute vintage circus themed shadow box. Here are some detailed pics. Now i got so many new inspirations about circus, I wanna make more... I think I will start in 3, 2, 1...

So the last post was about one of my little bears that I wanted to put into a vintage circus themed shadow box. I`m so in love with circus that I wanna make other boxes and frames wtih this theme. This is a brand new blog I have started to share with the world some of my work. I am a brazillian illustrator that lives in Norway and I am so much in love with my work that I Just can`t even think about not doing what I love. It`s been a strugle to restart in a new country where people have different interests, and art and illustration are not so popular around here as far as I have seen. But thank to the new technologies and internet I believe I can be able to work online with clients around the world. I have lots of things to improve. I know that. But the passion is there. I can`t let it go. It`s not a hobby. It`s part of me.
